It all started when a little mermaid tossed her financial services career in the ocean and then washed ashore on the beaches of Cape Cod where she had spent her childhood summers with her grandparents in Brewster. She began creating recipes with whimsical names that celebrated the ocean life she loved.
Island residents and visitors alike soon shrieked with delight after their first bites of a Cape Cod Sand Bar and began licking their lips in anticipation of the rich and gooey Drunken Sailor Pecan Bars coming out of the oven. All Mermaids Pantry products are baked from scratch in small batches using only the finest quality and freshest ingredients, just how grandma did it when you were a guppy!
Many of the products from Mermaids Pantry are easily packed for a day at the beach, an afternoon of sailing, a picnic along one of the Cape's many bike trails, or just enjoyed as one of life's little indulgences!
(They also may be consumed as necessary when your boss is having a bad hair day, when it seems the kids will never stop bickering, or if you just feel like reminiscing about a great vacation to Cape Cod & the Islands!)
